Itinerary

Exact itineraries vary depending on the tour type. 

Morning:
Meet the crew on board the modern 65-foot ship “Ningaloo Blue” in Exmouth. After a safety briefing and fitting of snorkeling equipment, the tour starts over the Ningaloo Reef. Observe the marine life or prepare to swim with the sea giants.

Morning to midday:
Swim with whale sharks (March-August) or humpback whales (August-October) in small, accompanied groups. Enjoy the proximity to these impressive animals and the opportunity to take photos and videos. For non-swimmers, there is plenty of opportunity to observe the animals from the upper deck.

Afternoon:
Further snorkeling on the reef, observing marine animals or relaxing on the upper deck. Light refreshments and drinks are served during the tour.

Conclusion:
Return to Exmouth in the late afternoon. Participants receive a free video and photos of the tour as a souvenir. If you wish, you can relax and review your whale shark or humpback whale experience over a glass of champagne.

Regular whale shark sightings take place every year between March and August.

Yes, we offer additional safety measures, including a safety tender in the water to assist participants with limited swimming or snorkeling abilities.

In addition to the safety tender, a qualified dive master, our trained deck staff and a spotter plane for quick whale shark sightings ensure a safe experience.

If you don’t see a whale shark, we offer a free tour on the next available day or a free, transferable voucher for a repeat tour, valid for two years.
