This sailing tour takes you to the top spots in the region. Join up to 25 like-minded guests and take part in activities such as snorkeling, bush walks and, of course, sailing.

Visit the world-famous Hill Inlet Lookout and Whitehaven Beach, from where you can enjoy magnificent views and spectacular photo opportunities.

Between activities, you can either relax in company, enjoy the sun’s rays or simply take in nature in the shade (or in the sun).

Itinerary

Meet your crew and fellow travelers for the 14:00 departure from Coral Sea Marina. Set sail for the Whitsundays and reach one of our favorite beaches to relax, swim and enjoy the sunset with tasty snacks.

Back on board, it’s on to the overnight anchorage, where you can enjoy dinner and dessert, get to know your new fellow travelers, have a few drinks, relax under the stars and let the gentle waves lull you to sleep.

Start the day with a delicious breakfast as you sail to Tongue Bay. Take a scenic bushwalk to Hill Inlet Lookout and enjoy the breathtaking views of Whitehaven Beach and the swirling sands of the inlet. Perfect for photos!

Afterwards you can spend 3 relaxing hours at Whitehaven Beach. Lunch will be served back on board before you head off to two hand-picked snorkeling spots.

When you’ve snorkeled enough, head to another of our favorite beaches to relax with sunset snacks before heading to the overnight anchorage.

Enjoy a breakfast with breathtaking views before heading out for a last snorkeling trip or a guided bushwalk on one of the islands.

We then set sail back to Airlie Beach, arriving at around 11:00 am.

But the fun doesn’t end there! Spend the afternoon in Airlie Beach, return to your accommodation, freshen up and then meet your new friends for the after-party – with a reserved table, food offers and drinks discounts.

Please pack everything in a soft, small bag (no suitcases or bags with wheels). We recommend taking the following with you: Swimwear Towel(s) Sunscreen Lip balm Sunglasses Hat Rain jacket Sweater or sweatshirt (in the cooler months) Sandals, jandals or sneakers for island hikes Toiletries Prescribed medication There are no stores on the islands, so you should pick up essentials, drinks and snacks at the marina before departure.

The Broomstick Whitsundays is a BYO boat, which means you are allowed to bring your own alcoholic drinks and other beverages on board (no glass or red wine please). Filtered drinking water is included throughout the tour, so please bring a water bottle to refill – this will also save you plastic bottles. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are also included. However, for safety reasons, no hot drinks are served while the boat is sailing or circumnavigating the islands.

Don’t worry – we provide additional swimming aids if required. Before entering the water, we carry out a risk assessment for each guest. While you are in the water, the small dinghy stays close by and staff are always on visual watch. In the Whitsundays, the reefs we visit are usually close to the beach, making it easy to return to the beach.

Large bags and suitcases may not be taken on board. However, luggage storage services are available at most accommodations in Airlie Beach.
