Itinerary

Exact itineraries vary depending on the tour type.

In the afternoon, we visit the 36 red rock domes of Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and experience this ancient geological formation up close. On a hike through the domes of Kata Tjuta you will get to know the domes, dunes and gullies. We then drive to Uluru (Ayers Rock) and watch the colors of the rock change at sunset – an unforgettable natural spectacle. Back at camp, a delicious dinner with the group awaits and, if the weather is clear, you can relax under the stars. You will spend the night in permanent tents, equipped with comfortable beds, bed linen, towels, lighting and fans.

An early start is rewarded with the sunrise at Uluru. Take advantage of the cool morning air for a walk around the base of Uluru. We then visit the cave paintings at Mutitjulu Waterhole, accompanied by an Anangu guide who explains the stories of the landscape and provides insights into art, culture and the Aboriginal people’s close connection to the land. At the Uluru Cultural Center you can then discover an extensive collection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art and crafts and possibly purchase souvenirs before the tour ends at Ayers Rock Resort.
