That's a difficult question! If I had to choose one place/destination, it would be Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park: there's just something magical about this place. It also has the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
Favourite spot New Zealand
Not an easy question for New Zealand either, but if I had to choose here, it would be Milford Sound. The nature with all the fjords and waterfalls is simply beautiful and absolutely mystical, especially when it has rained or is raining! There is rarely a place where I have been so thrilled even in bad weather. I was also lucky enough to see dolphins as well as numerous waterfalls!
Travel advice
Better to plan ahead than to be stressed on vacation! It's hard to believe, but popular campsites such as those in Cape Range National Park are sometimes fully booked 6 months in advance. My tip: check the vacation periods early enough and book campsites in advance. Some have minimum stay nights or some places are so small that the campsites fill up quickly.

Around Sydney in the countryside - often in the Kangaroo Valley or in Jervis Bay - with our self-built 4WD camper. We always have our cell phone and camera with us to take the best wildlife photos!

Cape Range National Park - Osprey Bay and Kurrajong Campsites were the absolute highlights for me! The coastal scenery is simply breathtaking and snorkeling is super nice especially at Turquoise Bay
Favourite spot New Zealand
As a nature lover, I would definitely choose Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound - both spectacular landscapes!

Esperance 💙 - Esperance is my favorite travel destination in Australia because it has the most beautiful beaches with turquoise blue water, white sand dunes and even kangaroos by the sea. The mixture of untouched nature, tranquillity and adventure makes this place unique for me.
Favourite spot New Zealand
I have three favorite places in New Zealand: the power of the volcano on Mount Taranaki, the silence between waterfalls and rocks in Milford Sound, and the lightness of golden beaches and coastal paths in Abel Tasman. Each of these places reminds me of how diverse and special New Zealand is.
Favourite Camper
Travel advice
It's always worth allowing a little extra time for spontaneous stops - it's often the little detours that hold the best surprises.

There are so many beautiful places in Australia, but when I think of a highlight that I particularly like to remember and that can be perfectly incorporated into a short trip from Sydney at any time, it's Jervis Bay. As a beach lover, I was fascinated by the white dream beaches and the turquoise blue water. I wasn't aware of the fact that you also come across hundreds of kangaroos, which makes this place unforgettable for me.

Travel advice
I had to learn for myself that in Australia you tend to want to see as much as possible in the shortest possible time. The list of highlights is long and so are the distances. That's exactly why it's worth consciously traveling at a slower pace: Take your time, stay longer in one place and let the impressions sink in. This is often when the best memories are created.

Quite typical in Sydney on Bondi Beach - just as the cliché would have it: Sunrise & Running Club, Pilates, Matcha, Coastal Walks, Ocean Dip, Tanning - simply pure beach life.
