General information
Ausventure Travel arranges tours, activities and travel packages on behalf of external providers. The respective terms and conditions of the providers apply. Please read the tour descriptions carefully and check all details in your booking confirmation.
Responsibility of the customer
- It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all participants meet the physical requirements for the respective activity.
- Customers are obliged to arrive punctually at the specified meeting point at the start of the tour. There is no entitlement to a refund in the event of non-appearance or late arrival.
- The customer is obliged to inform us of any medical restrictions or special requirements prior to booking.
Amendments & cancelations by the customer
- Tours booked at full price: In the event of cancelations by the customer, the refund conditions of the respective provider apply. No processing fees will be charged by Ausventure Travel.
- Packages and tours booked with a discount (code): Cancellations by the customer will incur a processing fee of 20% of the amount, which will be refunded by the provider.
- Tour packages: There is a processing fee of AUD 100 for complete changes to travel dates. Minor changes (e.g. postponement of individual activities) are free of charge if supported by the provider.
Cancellations by the provider
- If the tour is canceled by the provider, customers will be refunded the amount paid by the provider.
- For tours at full price: The full amount will be refunded to the customer – no processing fee.
- For discounted tours: A processing fee of 10 % will be charged on the refund amount or the full amount can be used as a 100 % credit note for a new booking.
Rebookings
- Rebookings are possible subject to availability. Fees may be charged by the provider. Ausventure Travel does not charge any additional fees for this unless a major route change is necessary.
Liability
- Ausventure Travel is not liable for any changes, delays or cancellations caused by the tour provider.
- Participation in all activities is at your own risk.
Travel insurance recommendation
We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover tour cancellations, illness and unexpected changes.
