Drive from Broome along the Coral Coast through the Pilbara, snorkel at the majestic Ningaloo Reef and explore the impressive gorges and water basins of Karijini National Park. Itinerary
Day
Broome & Eighty Mile Beach:
Arrive in Broome, take a short coastal break, then drive along the Great Sandy Desert to Eighty Mile Beach. Overnight stay on a station in the Pilbara.
Day
Drive to Karijini:
Stop in Port Hedland, visit to the iron industry, arrival in Karijini National Park. Depending on time, first short exploration tour or camp set-up
Day
Karijini National Park:
Full day exploring the gorges, waterholes and swimming spots. Highlights: Weano Gorge, Hancock Gorge, Dales Gorge, Oxers Lookout.
Day
Karijini National Park:
Second day in Karijini for hiking, swimming in waterholes and exploring other gorges and waterfalls.
Day
Pilbara & long drive:
Around 9 hours drive through the red soil of the Pilbara, past cattle stations and mineral areas.
Day
Cape Range & Coral Bay:
Optional snorkeling/diving with whale sharks or manta rays, visit to Vlamingh Head Lighthouse or Turquoise Bay, short exploration of Coral Bay.
Day
Ningaloo Reef:
Free day for snorkeling or diving at Ningaloo Reef. Alternative: glass-bottom boat tour or relaxation on the beach

Tropic of Capricorn & Shell Beach:
Crossing the Tropic of Capricorn, stop at Shell Beach, overnight stay in Monkey Mia.
Day
Monkey Mia & Shark Bay:
Watch the dolphins in Monkey Mia, continue across the eastern peninsula, visit stromatolites, stopover in Murchison Gorge, arrival in Kalbarri.
Day
Kalbarri & return to Perth:
Explore the coastal gorges of Kalbarri National Park, visit Pink Lake in Port Gregory, walk through the Pinnacles in Nambung National Park, return to Perth.

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations within 7 days of the start date will incur a 100% charge.
- Cancellations between 7 days and 28 days before the start date will incur a 50% fee.
- Cancellations between 28 days and 365 days prior to the start date will incur a fee of $250.00.
Experience FAQs
What should I take with me?
Travelers may take a maximum of 15 kg of luggage in a soft bag plus daypack. We recommend a travel pillow, sleeping bag, water bottle, light clothing in layers, closed shoes, sun protection, headlamp/torch, camera with spare batteries and a second pair of shoes.
How fit should I be?
The trip requires a medium to high level of fitness, as there is a lot of walking to experience nature up close. Daily stages can be between 3 and 9 km over uneven terrain, sometimes with sections that lead through water
Can I take part if I am traveling alone?
Solo travelers are welcome. Rooms are usually shared with participants of the same gender. Single rooms are available at an extra charge, please specify when booking.
How challenging are the hikes?
The hikes are demanding. Sturdy, comfortable hiking boots and suitable clothing are recommended. You should bring two pairs of shoes, one of which may get wet.
Are special dietary requirements taken into account?
All food for this tour is purchased and packed before departure. Once the group is underway, it is difficult to accommodate special dietary requests. Travelers with special dietary requirements or food allergies must indicate this at the time of booking.
