How deep do you dive?
The Great Barrier Reef is not a deep-sea destination. Most of the dive sites are at a depth of 10-25 m, which provides perfect light conditions for colorful corals and great photos.
Are you just a dive boat? Are you just a dive boat?
No – our reef sites are perfect for snorkeling and diving. Thanks to the large sun deck and hydraulic platform, both activities can take place at the same time without disturbing each other.
When are departure and return?
Departure at 8:30 am from Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal. Return to Cairns around 16:30 hrs.
Is lunch included?
Yes – a hot & cold buffet is served on board (at the second reef spot). Also included: Morning tea with focaccia, muffins & cake Afternoon tea with cake, cheese & crackers on the return journey
Do you have foreign-language diving and snorkeling guides?
Our crew speaks several languages, but we cannot guarantee a specific language on every day. Please contact our office in advance if you have any special requirements.
Are there optical masks?
Yes – standard masks magnify objects under water by approx. 25 %. In addition, we offer a limited selection of masks with corrective lenses free of charge (please enquire about the availability of specific strengths in advance).
Are children allowed?
Yes, children are welcome when accompanied by an adult. We recommend that they are water-savvy. Babysitting on board is not available. Minimum age for diving: 12 years.
