Take the ferry from Inskip Point to Fraser Island before driving along the famous 75-Mile Beach. Visit Lake Wabby and/or Lake Birrabeen and enjoy lunch with the group. Explore the rainforest at Wanggoolba Creek and Central Station before heading back to camp. Experience FAQs

Whether you start from Noosa or Rainbow Beach – just leave your backpack or suitcase in the luggage storage while you enjoy the tour. (Please note: The organizer accepts no responsibility and will not provide compensation for loss or damage to your personal belongings during storage or the tour).

The camp consists of 4-person tents with beds, comfortable mattresses, pillows and bed linen. A small store, sanitary facilities with hot showers and flush toilets are available and secured by a dingo fence. The beach is just a short walk away – perfect for quiet moments at sunrise or sunset.

Absolutely! There’s always room for a navigator, comedian, DJ or photographer. If you don’t want to take on these roles – no problem, just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Unfortunately, we can’t control the weather – Queensland is sometimes affected by cyclones and heavy rain. Check the weather forecast and bring a waterproof jacket for a memorable tour. Tours are rarely canceled as most guests have a tight schedule on the coast.

Yes, you can bring alcohol, preferably buy it before the tour. Goon (box wine) or glass bottles are not allowed. We recommend cans – fewer crown caps and no broken glass!

Yes, you can drive on K’gari if: You are at least 21 years old and have 2 years of driving experience, you have a valid driver’s license. If your driver’s license is not issued entirely in English, it must be accompanied by an international driver’s license. Photocopies are not accepted.

We cannot guarantee the exact return time as tides and island conditions vary. As a rule, we plan to return to Rainbow Beach between 12:00 and 15:00 and to Noosa between 15:00 and 19:00. However, a fixed time cannot be guaranteed. We strongly recommend not planning onward travel on the same day.

Absolutely, with hot and cold water and flush toilets just a short walk from camp.

Dingoes are fascinating animals, but they are also wild animals and can become aggressive if provoked. Follow the guides’ instructions on how to behave in a dingo-safe manner, always walk in a group and take a stick with you when you leave the camp – then you’ll be safe!

We have a strict 18+ rule. Our guests are predominantly young international travelers, but we welcome everyone who is young at heart.

Take both pieces of luggage with you at the start of your tour. Pack a small bag for the island. Your large luggage will be stored at Rainbow Beach and collected on your return from the island. (We accept no responsibility or compensation for loss or damage to your belongings during storage or the tour).
