Your adventure starts with the ferry to K’Gari (Fraser Island). You travel along the famous 75 Mile Beach to Eurong, from where you head inland to Lake McKenzie. There you have time to swim in the crystal-clear water and relax.

Then it’s on to Central Station, where you’ll have lunch, walk along the special Wanggoolba Creek and learn more about the history of K’Gari (Fraser Island). The trail then leads you back to the beach and camp, where you can relax after a long day – or head to Corrigin Sandblow to enjoy the sunset.

In the evening, prepare a delicious BBQ with your new Fraser family and round off the day around the campfire or in the covered seating area.

After breakfast, a real highlight awaits: a dip in the Champagne Pools, where the waves bubble and create the bubbles that give the natural pools their name. Then it’s on to Indian Head, one of the few rock formations on K’Gari (Fraser Island). From here you have the chance to observe humpback whales (Aug.-Oct.), sharks, dolphins, sea turtles, rays and schools of tropical fish.

Back at camp, you will have lunch before setting off for Eli Creek. Here you can float in the crystal-clear water, which transports millions of liters of fresh water into the sea every hour.

In the afternoon, you will visit the famous Maheno shipwreck, a landmark of K’Gari (Fraser Island), and the colorful sand cliffs of the Pinnacles. In the evening, you cook together – spaghetti bolognese with garlic bread – before ending the evening under Australia’s spectacular starry sky.

On the last day, enjoy a quick breakfast before heading to Lake Wabby. After a 40-45 minute hike across the bush and Hammerstone Sandblow, you’ll reach the deepest lake on K’Gari (Fraser Island). Here you can take one last swim and relax on the shore.

After lunch on the beach, it’s back to the ferry and Rainbow Beach. Depending on the tide, you will arrive at the hostel in Rainbow Beach between 13:00 and 16:30 – and spend one last night together with your Fraser family.
