Itinerary

Exact itineraries vary depending on the tour type.

Meeting point is at 8:00 am at the harbor of Airlie Beach (Port Drive), where you will meet the crew and get in the mood for your adventure. At 8:30 am we will cast off and set sail! If you feel like it, you can help hoist the sails – or sit back and relax as we glide across the picturesque Whitsunday Passage.

We drop anchor in Tongue Bay and take a guided bush walk to the famous Hill Inlet Lookout. Spectacular views of Whitehaven Beach and the iconic swirling sand formations await you there – a photo opportunity not to be missed. Then it’s down to the beach, where you have time to feel the snow-white quartz sand under your feet, collect shells or take a refreshing dip.

In the afternoon, we sail further north and anchor at one of the beautiful bays to experience the sunset. Enjoy snacks and a drink on deck as the sun sets golden over the Whitsundays. After dinner, you can end the evening in a relaxed atmosphere with the group and catch up with your new travel buddies.

Start the day early with a delicious breakfast on board and get ready for an unforgettable snorkeling experience. The colorful coral reefs are teeming with tropical fish, sea anemones and – with a bit of luck – a curious sea turtle.

After a refreshing morning tea, we head for another snorkeling or swimming spot or make a stop at a secluded beach. After a hearty lunch, we set sail one last time and glide back through the Whitsunday Passage before docking back in Airlie Beach at around 16:00 – perfect for freshening up and meeting your new friends for the after-party in the evening.

There are several luggage storage options in Airlie Beach. Alternatively, you can leave your luggage at your hotel or accommodation if they offer this service.

Please only bring a small, soft bag – hard suitcases or bags with zippers are not allowed. There are many stores on the main street in Airlie Beach that sell cheap, suitable bags, such as dry bags, tote bags or shopping bags. These are the perfect size for a Whitsunday trip and dry bags have the added benefit of keeping your belongings dry.

There is a public parking lot at the Coral Sea Marina | Resort (formerly Abell Point Marina). You can park your vehicle there for the duration of your trip. Please note that parking fees apply, which you must pay yourself.

Pack everything in a hand luggage sized bag. We recommend: Clothes for the duration of the trip Swimwear & towel Light shoes (e.g. flip-flops/slides) Sun protection (sun cream, hat, sunglasses) Camera or smartphone
