Your adventure begins with the trip to the ferry at Inskip Point and the crossing to K’gari (Fraser Island). Even on the short boat trip, you can keep an eye out for dolphins or sea turtles. After arriving, you’ll head directly along the famous 75 Mile Beach, which also serves as the island’s highway.
On the way, you’ll visit the historic Maheno shipwreck and the pristine Eli Creek, where you can let yourself drift. In the afternoon, the breathtaking Lake McKenzie awaits with its snow-white quartz sand and crystal-clear water – perfect for swimming and relaxing. Spend the evening in your comfortable accommodation at K’gari Beach Resort, where you can relax or end the day with your group.

After a hearty breakfast, we continue to the northern part of the island. There you can take a dip in the unique Champagne Pools, which are fed by waves and owe their name to the sparkling air bubbles. Afterwards, a hike takes you over an old sand dune to the emerald-green Lake Wabby, one of K’gari’s hidden oases. On the way back, enjoy another drive along the wide sandy tracks and beaches before taking the ferry back to the mainland – filled with unforgettable memories of two days full of natural wonders and adventure.
