I want to swim, but my companion does not. Is that a problem?
Not at all! We use the same boat for swimming and observation tours. You can book both together or separately – you are always on the same boat.
I am not a confident swimmer / have never snorkeled before. Is the tour suitable for me?
Yes, absolutely. Many of our guests feel insecure at the beginning, so we have optimized our instruction and methods over the years: You will be given a 5 mm wetsuit that also serves as a buoyancy aid. Our crew will show you step by step how to get into the water and how to behave safely. Colorful visual charts and practical demonstrations will also help. All swimmers hold on to a safety line at the stern of the boat. If you still don’t feel confident after the briefing, you can stay on board and just watch the dolphins.
My child is under 9 years old and would like to swim. Is that possible?
Unfortunately, our insurance does not allow swimming for children under the age of 9. However, children are welcome to watch the dolphins from the boat.
What happens if we don't see any dolphins?
We have a very high success rate and it is extremely rare that no dolphins are spotted. If this does happen, you can take part in another tour free of charge within one year (non-transferable).
Can I swim if I have a pacemaker?
Yes, but you can only take part in the Front Swim Experience. Our Back Swim Experience uses two high-performance shark shields that could short-circuit a pacemaker.
