Experience FAQs
Is this tour also suitable for beginners?
The area is more recommended for level 2 snorkelers (safe in deeper water and with light currents/waves). Beginners are welcome, but should be aware that it is not easy beach snorkeling.
How deep is the water when snorkeling?
The reefs are between 2-6 m below the surface. However, some entrances from the boat are in 12 m deep water.
Do I need my diving certification?
Yes, absolutely! You cannot dive with us without a valid C-Card. For PADI or SSI divers, we can look up the certification online, but we strongly recommend that you bring the card with you.
How recent must my last dive be?
You must have dived within the last 12 months. If not, a pool refresher or a private guide (bookable in advance directly with the organizer, at extra cost) is required.
Do I need a medical certificate?
Not mandatory, unless you have pre-existing conditions such as asthma. However, a PADI DSD online form must be completed in advance.
How long does the journey take?
About 75 minutes each way to the Outer Reef / Muiron Islands.
