Departure from Darwin
We leave Darwin in the morning and make our way towards Litchfield National Park. Your adventure in Australia’s tropical north begins just an hour away.

Along the way, you have the choice:
Experience the famous Jumping Crocodile Cruise (optional) on the Adelaide River and observe saltwater crocodiles up close. Or discover the fascinating Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve – a birdwatcher’s paradise and home to turtles, water pythons and numerous bird species.

We visit the impressive, centuries-old Magnetic Termite Mounds, which stand like monuments in the landscape and are among the natural wonders of the park. Then it’s off to the highlights of Litchfield National Park: relax in the Buley Rockholes or take a refreshing dip in Wangi Falls. Admire the spectacular Florence Falls or Tolmer Falls, which cascade impressively over the rocks.
