When does the tour start and end?
Our full-day tours to Lady Musgrave Island and Adventure Outer Reef Diving start with check-in at 7:00 am at Bundaberg Port Marina. The return is planned for around 17:00.
Is the crossing rough and is there a risk of seasickness?
Conditions vary daily. As this is an open ocean crossing, we recommend that all guests take preventative measures against seasickness. The medication Travacalm has proved particularly effective.
What should I bring with me?
Be sure to pack a towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, comfortable shoes or thongs for the island hike and a camera to capture your memories. We also recommend some money for drinks, snacks or souvenirs from the kiosk on board. Certified divers must bring their diving license, and those wishing to do a trial dive should also have cash or card ready. For guests without suitable footwear, we offer thongs (flip-flops) for purchase.
Do we have to bring our own drinks?
Please bring a refillable water bottle – our chilled, triple-filtered water is available to you throughout the day. Cold soft drinks, juices and alcoholic beverages can also be purchased on board.
When is the best time to travel?
Lady Musgrave Island is a highlight all year round – every season has its own special natural spectacles. In winter you can watch the humpback whale migration, while in summer you can see turtles mating, laying eggs and hatching. Snorkeling and diving are possible all year round. Unlike in the tropical north, there is no jellyfish season here (stinger season) – so you can swim safely all year round.
