Itinerary

Exact itineraries vary depending on the tour type.

Depart Darwin in the morning and drive towards Kakadu National Park through lush floodplains and varied landscapes. With over 20,000 km², the park offers an impressive variety of native flora and fauna and is home to important Aboriginal rock art sites.

Our first stop is at the Adelaide River, where you have the option to join the exciting Jumping Croc Cruise or visit the Fogg Dam Conservation Center on traditional Limilngan-Wulna land. The reserve is a unique place to observe the Top End’s diverse wildlife, including numerous bird species, water turtles, water snakes and saltwater crocodiles.

We continue to the Bowali Visitor Center, where you can immerse yourself in the culture, history and Aboriginal art of the region and take a lunch break (own expense). We then stop at the infamous Cahills Crossing, one of Australia’s most dangerous waterways and the only road crossing between Kakadu and Arnhem Land, to watch crocodiles from a safe distance.

In the afternoon, we reach the Ubirr World Heritage Site, where we discover some of the oldest and best-preserved rock art in the world on a guided walk through this sacred site.
