In the morning

Pick-up at Rainbow Beach/Hervey Bay, check-in and brief welcome by your guide

Ferry crossing to the island

Drive along the impressive 75 Mile Beach, also known as the “beach highway”

Morning

First stop: Eli Creek, where you can enjoy the clear current or let yourself drift along

Continue to the Maheno shipwreck with time for photos and a short tour

Noon

Enjoy a relaxed lunch somewhere with a beach view or a picnic

Afternoon

Visit to the legendary Lake McKenzie: time to swim, relax and explore

Optional stop at Central Station with a rainforest walk on the boardwalk or along Wanggoolba Creek

Late afternoon

Return to the ferry via 75 Mile Beach

Ferry crossing back to the mainland and return to Rainbow Beach/Hervey Bay

Conclusion

Our 4WD buses are specially built to safely navigate the sandy tracks and unique terrain of K’gari. They are air-conditioned, have large panoramic windows and offer space for up to 40 passengers.

Yes, children from the age of one are welcome on all our tours. A child seat is required for children under the age of eight. If you do not have your own seat, please contact our reservations team before booking.

Our tours generally take place in all weathers – rain, sun or wind. Cancellations may only occur in extreme weather conditions. In this case, you will receive a refund from us if you have booked directly. If you have booked through a travel agency, the refund will be made via your respective provider.
