What should I bring with me?
Pack swimwear, towel, sun hat, sunscreen (preferably reef-safe), a water bottle, comfortable clothes and sturdy shoes that can get wet. A rain jacket can be useful in the rainy season. Don’t forget your camera or GoPro – there are lots of great photo opportunities!
Can you swim anywhere?
Yes, there are opportunities to swim at several stops – e.g. at the Babinda Boulders, Josephine Falls (natural water slide) and in Lake Eacham. All swimming stops are optional, you can also just enjoy nature.
How long does the tour last?
The tour lasts a whole day. Pick-up is in the morning in Cairns, return in the late afternoon or early evening.
Is the tour suitable for families?
Yes, the tour is suitable for all ages. Children especially love the Josephine Falls and Lake Eacham. However, parents should always keep an eye on their children as it can be slippery in some places.
Does the tour also take place in the rain?
Yes, the tour usually takes place even when it rains – after all, we are in the rainforest. In extreme weather conditions, the schedule can be adjusted or postponed to ensure the safety of all guests.
