Itinerary

Exact itineraries vary depending on the tour type.

Tomorrow:
Uluru is the heart of Australia and symbolizes the size, beauty and culture of this country. Shortly after your arrival, the unmistakable monolith rises impressively from the earth. After a short drive, enjoy lunch at Kata Tjuta (The Olgas). With its 36 differently shaped domes, this rock massif forms an exciting contrast to Uluru.

Noon:
In the afternoon, take a hike between the domes and get to know the landscape up close. A light snack awaits you at sunset, while Uluru is bathed in shimmering shades of red and brown.

In the evening:
The perfect end to the day is spent at camp: enjoying a delicious dinner with your group in the open air and – weather permitting – under a twinkling starry sky.

Morning:
Get up early today – you will be rewarded with an unforgettable sunrise at Uluru. The first rays illuminate the rock like a beacon before the warm light floods the entire landscape. Your tour guide will take you to one of Uluru’s most important cultural sites, show you ancient Anangu rock paintings and tell you one of the fascinating stories of creation. Afterwards, you will have time for a self-guided, complete circumnavigation of Uluru: a unique opportunity to discover hidden valleys, rock structures and details up close that remain hidden from afar.

Noon:
After lunch, you can browse through the cultural center and perhaps purchase a handmade work of art from the indigenous people.

Evening:
In the late afternoon we continue to our exclusive campsite near Watarrka National Park (Kings Canyon), where dinner and another starry sky await you.

Morning:
The main attraction of Watarrka National Park is the impressive Kings Canyon – a huge gorge with steep rock faces, weathered sandstone, hidden rock pools and a unique biodiversity of over 600 plant and animal species. On a guided hike, your guide will show you the most famous highlights: the Lost City, the Amphitheater, the Garden of Eden and the spectacular north and south walls.

Lunch/Evening:
After lunch, we return to Alice Springs, where we say goodbye in the early evening around 6 pm.
