How much luggage can I bring?
Please limit your luggage, as storage space on the yacht is limited. Pack your luggage in soft bags, not hard cases. Storage at the marina jetty is not possible, but there is luggage storage along Main Street in Airlie Beach.
What should I take with me?
Fun and adventure, shower towel, beach towel, swimsuit/bathing shorts and sun hat, practical clothing, sturdy shoes & sunscreen (at least SPF 30+), camera and film, alcohol, soft drinks, mineral water and juice (no glass), stow all items in a small, soft bag
Can I take my own drinks on board?
Yes, there is a BYO (Bring Your Own) rule for all alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks on the British Defender.
What does "shared" accommodation mean?
“Shared” means that the accommodation is shared cabins to make the tours more cost-effective. Usually referred to as “Share Single” or “Share Double”, this means that you have a single or double bed in a cabin with one or more other guests.
Can special dietary requirements be taken into account?
The organizer can accommodate special diets (lactose-free, gluten-free, nut-free, seafood-free, vegetarian). Gluten-free, lactose-free or vegan options are subject to a surcharge payable directly to the provider at check-in
How do I get to the Coral Sea Marina?
Coral Sea Marina (formerly Abell Point Marina) has two departure areas after online check-in, which will be shown on your boarding pass.Taxi approx $10, bus goes to south end of marina (limited service), walk via Bicentennial Walk along shoreline (approx 15 minutes to north end, approx 20 minutes to south end), car: public parking lot at south end of marina with daily fee
