The first day starts with a picturesque drive through the Tablelands. In the morning, you will visit Josephine Falls, where you can try out the natural rock slide or simply take a dip in the clear water. Continue to the idyllic Lake Eacham, a volcanic crater filled with rainwater that is perfect for a swim.

For lunch, enjoy a 2-course meal at our popular restaurant before visiting the famous Millaa Millaa Waterfall – one of Australia’s most photographed waterfalls. Then head to Millaa Millaa Lookout for spectacular views over the region. In the late afternoon, platypus spotting is on the agenda – with a bit of luck, you might spot the shy animals in the wild.

In the evening, you check into the cozy On the Wallaby Eco Lodge. After dinner, an unforgettable highlight awaits you: a night canoe trip on Lake Tinaroo, where you can enjoy the starry sky and the tranquillity of the lake at night.

After a hearty breakfast at the lodge, your second day of adventure begins. First you visit the Agile Wallabies – including feeding and exciting information about these animals. Then it’s off across the Rex Range to the next item on the program: a wildlife river cruise, where you can discover saltwater crocodiles and other native animals in their natural habitat.

At lunchtime, you will enjoy a delicious meal with a view of the rainforest. Afterwards, there is time for a refreshing swim in the rainforest, a relaxed beach walk at Cape Tribulation and a guided rainforest walk before returning to Cairns in the late afternoon with a stop in Port Douglas and 4 Mile Beach.
