Cancellations
a) There is no general statutory right of withdrawal. The possibility of cancelation depends on the respective conditions of the provider.
b) Cancellation shall only be deemed to have been made when we have received it in writing (by e-mail). We will confirm receipt in writing. If no confirmation is received within a reasonable period of time, please contact us to check receipt.
c) The time of receipt by the provider is decisive and takes place during the business hours of the respective provider (possibly in a different time zone). We therefore recommend early notification.
d) In the event of cancellation by the customer, the cancellation conditions of the respective provider shall apply.
e) Ausventure Travel is entitled to charge a processing fee for the reversal of the booking. Deposits already paid may – depending on the provider – be used as travel credit.
Rebookings
a) Rebookings are not guaranteed and depend on the conditions of the respective provider.
b) We will endeavor to facilitate a rebooking within the framework of the provider’s terms and conditions. Fees and/or surcharges may apply.
c) If these conditions are accepted by the customer, the rebooking shall be deemed a change to the contract. After confirmation by the provider, the customer will receive a new booking confirmation and, if applicable, a new voucher. The costs may again be charged to the credit card or invoiced.
Insurance
We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance and insurance to cover any deductibles in the event of damage to the vehicle. This can be taken out directly with an insurance provider or via a third-party provider.
Special notes on motorhome rentals
- When booking a vehicle, it is important that all drivers are named in the rental agreement. Failure to do so may invalidate the insurance cover.
- The vehicles may not be driven on unpaved or closed roads unless expressly permitted by the provider.
- Vehicles must be returned in a clean condition and with a full tank of gas. Otherwise additional charges will apply.
