The boat docks at the Cruising Yacht Club Jetty in Rockingham, on the corner of Val St and The Esplanade. Plan to drive about 45 minutes from Perth or Fremantle. Free parking is available on Harrison Street, Florence Street and Parkin Street. Please be at the boat on time at 8:00 am. Return is usually between 12:30 and 14:30, depending on dolphin sightings and behavior.

You don’t need to be a professional swimmer and you don’t need previous snorkeling experience (although it is helpful). Our professional and friendly crew will introduce you to the basics of snorkeling and also support nervous or less experienced swimmers so that you can enjoy the experience.

Children under the age of 6 are not allowed to swim with the wild dolphins as they must be able to follow instructions – this is crucial for everyone’s safety and experience. For children going into the water, we recommend practicing with a mask and snorkel beforehand. Buoyancy aids are not suitable as they keep the head above water and prevent underwater action. We provide wetsuits in small sizes to help with light buoyancy. Supervision of children is the responsibility of the parents; children must not be left unattended on board

Wear your swimsuit under the wetsuit. Bring a towel and a change of clothes (a weatherproof jacket is recommended). Comfortable shoes, flip-flops or sandals are suitable. There are storage boxes under your seats for bags and clothes.

Dolphins come very close, occasionally performing turns and jumps in close proximity. We adhere to a strict “do not touch” rule so as not to injure the dolphins or damage their skin.

Absolutely not! It would be detrimental to their health and destroy the special relationship based on mutual curiosity and interaction.

Although our crew has over 30 years of experience, wild dolphins do not always follow a plan. If there is no encounter during your cruise, you can join again free of charge. However, there is no right to a refund and places cannot be transferred to other people.
