What are the departure and return times?
The tour starts about 90 minutes before sunset at Ayers Rock Resort. You return to the resort directly after sunset.
Can I bring my family with me?
Yes, children from the age of 2 are welcome and pay the child rate. However, all travelers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who will be responsible throughout the tour.
What should I bring to the sunset tour?
Please remember your booking confirmation (digital version accepted), your Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park Pass (also available digitally and can be purchased online in advance) and a refillable water bottle. A wide-brimmed hat, a fly net, sunglasses, sunscreen and a camera are also recommended. Depending on the time of year, light, airy clothing for summer or warm clothing for winter is advisable. It is also worth taking some cash with you so that you can buy dot paintings directly from local artists.
Can my special dietary requirements be taken into account?
We can accommodate special dietary requirements such as vegetarian, gluten-free or lactose-free on request at the time of booking. If you have a food allergy, such as a peanut allergy, please let us know at the time of booking and bring the necessary medication with you.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance to secure a place.
What rules apply to own beverages (BYO)?
We serve water, juice and sparkling wine with dinner. If you prefer beer or other drinks, you are welcome to bring two to three drinks of your own. Please give them to your guide when boarding so that they can be stored in the cooler and served to you for dinner.
