How fit do I need to be to do the BridgeClimb?
You should be in normal health and fitness and be able to climb stairs and (on the Summit route) ladders independently. The tour takes place at a leisurely pace with breaks for photos and views.
Is there an age limit?
Children aged 8 and over can take part – the oldest participant was 100 years old.children aged 8-15 (at least 1.20 m tall) may take part if accompanied by an adult. An adult can supervise up to three children and must accompany and support them throughout the experience.
What should I wear on the day of the climb?
Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing (e.g. sports or leisure clothing). You will receive a special climbing suit on site. Depending on the weather conditions, our team will tell you whether you should wear additional layers of clothing underneath.
Which shoes are suitable?
Please wear comfortable, closed shoes with rubber soles, e.g. running, sports or hiking shoes. PVC or leather soles are unsuitable.
Can I take my cell phone or camera with me?
No, for security reasons, loose items such as cell phones, cameras or GoPros are not allowed. There are lockers for your valuables. Your climb guide will take professional photos that you can buy after the climb.
How long does the climb take?
Depending on the tour you choose, the ascent takes 2.5 to 3.5 hours. Allow an additional 15 minutes before and after your start time for check-in, photos and departure.
