Because one day of diving on the Great Barrier Reef just isn’t enough, hop aboard Pro Dive Cairns and experience an unforgettable liveaboard or snorkeling tour. Spend three days and two nights exploring one of the seven wonders of the world.

With Pro Dive Cairns you will visit a variety of selected sites on the outer Great Barrier Reef. Each site has been chosen for its abundance of marine life and outstanding visibility.

During the tour you will have the opportunity to take part in up to 11 dives – including 2 night dives. Some of the remarkable reefs you will visit are Flynn, Thetford, Millin and Pellowe Reef – a total of 16 extraordinary dive sites await you.

  • Up to 11 dives: During the tour, the boat travels back and forth between the dive sites so that you can immerse yourself to the maximum.
  • Comfort on board: Two large decks are available - one for diving and snorkeling, the other for sunbathing and relaxing.

Itinerary

Exact itineraries vary depending on the tour type. 

06:00 – Free transfer to accommodation
Available for accommodation in Cairns City and the Northern Beaches.

06:20 – Check-in at Pro Dive Cairns
on the corner of Grafton & Shields Streets. [Map]

07:00 – Departure from Cairns
Start of the 3-day, 2-night diving and snorkeling tour on the Great Barrier Reef. A light breakfast is served on board.

11:00 – Dive 1
The first dive takes place before lunch. A dive guide is available for those who have not dived for a long time. Ideal for getting used to the conditions and refreshing your skills.

12:30 – Lunch
Enjoy a meal on board.

14:30 – Dive 2
Discover more underwater wonders. After the dive, the boat goes to the next dive site.

16:30 – Dive 3
After a relaxing afternoon, it’s time for the third dive of the tour.

18:00 – Dinner
A delicious meal on board.

19:45 – Dive 4: Night dive
The night dive usually takes place in the same place as the afternoon dive, so you can already orientate yourself well.

09:00 – Breakfast
A delicious breakfast is served on board.

11:15 – Dive 6
After breakfast, it’s time for the second dive of the day.

12:45 – Lunch
Enjoy a meal on board.

15:15 – Dive 7
After lunch, it’s time for the third dive of the day.

17:45 – Dinner
A delicious dinner on board.

19:30 – Dive 8: Night dive
Experience the underwater world at night at a selected dive site.

06:30 – Dive 9
Sunrise dive to experience the underwater world in the morning light.

07:30 – Breakfast
Breakfast on board to get the day off to a good start.

09:00 – Dive 10
Explore another selected dive site.

11:00 – Dive 11
The last dive of the trip, expected to end at 12:00.

12:00 – Lunch
Lunch on board for refreshment after the last dive.

16:00 – Return transfer including
Return transfer to your accommodation in Cairns.

18:00 / 19:30 – Farewell dinner (optional, additional costs)
Meet your fellow travelers and the crew at a local restaurant for a farewell dinner
