Is there an age limit?
Children are welcome from the age of 6. Due to the nature of the tour, it is not suitable for young children under the age of 6. Children must be supervised at all times and all guests must keep to the marked paths and visitor areas.
How much luggage can I bring?
Please only take small daypacks or hand luggage with you, as the storage space in the vehicle is limited. Suitcases and large rucksacks must be deposited in the hotel or in lockers at the bus station before the start of the tour.
Is lunch included?
No, meals are not included. There are opportunities along the way to support local suppliers and buy lunch. Alternatively, guests can bring their own food – a cool box in the vehicle ensures freshness. There is also a water refill station (please bring a 1.5-2L water bottle).
How fit should I be for the tour?
An intermediate fitness level is required. Some areas of Nitmiluk National Park have rocky terrain and steep paths, e.g. the descent to Edith Falls.
Is it possible to swim during the tour?
Yes, depending on the season, it is possible to swim in the waterfalls and natural pools of Edith Falls (Leliyn).
Does the tour also take place in the rain?
Yes, the tour also runs in rainy or unsettled weather. Only in extreme conditions that make a safe trip to Nitmiluk National Park impossible will the tour be canceled. In this case, guests will be contacted by the organizer.
Where can I park in Darwin?
There is a public parking lot at 7 McLachlan Street Parking, just two blocks from Travelodge Darwin.
