Orca Expedition Bremer Bay
- Experience the expedition on board the 20-meter catamaran Alison Maree, specially built for the harsh conditions of Western Australia - stable, safe and with an expert, helpful crew.
- After a safety briefing and an introduction to the expedition, we set off on the 1.5-hour trip to the "hot spot" for the best orca encounters.
- You can also observe long-finned pilot whales, sperm whales, rare beaked whales, blue whales, bottlenose dolphins, striped dolphins, common dolphins and various shark species such as white sharks, whale sharks and blue oceanic sharks.

Which wineries do we visit?
Our tour schedule and the wineries visited may change depending on group size, special events or last-minute closures. We work closely with various wineries. You will enjoy three wine tastings at different stops such as Irongate Estate, Savannah Estate, Constable, Tempus Two / Roche, Mount View, Tintilla Estate, Gun Dog, Mistletoe and many more.
Is lunch included in the tour?
No, lunch is not included in the price. You have plenty of time to explore Hunter Valley Village on your own and have lunch in one of the restaurants, cafés or pubs as you wish. Entrance to the Hunter Valley Gardens is not included.
From what age is the tour suitable?
The minimum age for alcohol consumption in Australia is 18 years (ID required). The tour is therefore not suitable for children or young people under the age of 18, as no child-friendly activities are included.
How much luggage can I bring?
Please only bring a small bag or daypack, as the storage space in our vehicles is limited. Larger suitcases or rucksacks must be deposited in advance at the hotel or in lockers at the bus station.
How fit do I need to be for this tour?
Only a low fitness level is required. This tour is the perfect way to sit back, relax and enjoy a great day out with friends or family. Please note: Unfortunately our coaches are not wheelchair accessible. However, assistance dogs are welcome (please specify when booking).
Shall we visit the Hunter Valley Gardens?
No, admission to the Hunter Valley Gardens is not part of the program. However, we will stop for lunch in the nearby Hunter Valley Village, from where you can explore the surrounding area.
Does the tour also take place in the rain?
Yes, our tours also take place in the rain or bad weather – after all, there is hardly anything better than sitting comfortably inside with a glass of red wine. If possible, we still enjoy the scenery outside. If the weather is very bad, the wine tastings will be moved indoors. If a tour is completely canceled, we will inform you immediately.
