You can easily manage your pass and your journeys in your “My Greyhound” account. Alternatively, simply enter your booking number and email address on the “Manage booking” page. Then enter your start point, destination and travel date in the availability search and choose the connection that suits you best. After purchasing your pass, you will receive an email with all the important information about your account and booking.

You can change your journeys online at any time – either via your “My Greyhound” account (if you have one) or via the “Manage booking” page by entering your booking number and PIN. Online changes are possible up to 1 hour before departure. You can change, delete or add new journeys as often as you like. If you want to change your booking over the phone via the Greyhound Australia Call Center, you can do so up to 15 minutes before departure by calling 1300 473 946.

Once you have added your rides to your pass, simply show your booking number to the driver when boarding – no need to print it out, your cell phone will do. Also have a valid photo ID ready in case you are asked to show it.

If you miss a journey, you can simply rebook it. Please note, however, that you will not be credited with any additional travel days.

You can check in two pieces of baggage with a maximum weight of 20 kg (44 lb) each. In addition, you can take one piece of hand baggage weighing a maximum of 8 kg (17.6 lb). If you would like to take more, you can check in up to three additional pieces of baggage (max. 20 kg each) for $10 each. The regular freight prices apply from the fourth additional piece of baggage.

With the National Whimit Pass you can use the entire Greyhound Australia route network. The East Coast Whimit Travel Pass gives you unlimited travel along the East Coast on all Greyhound routes between Melbourne and Cairns – in both directions and for as many days in a row as your pass is valid. You can start your journey at any stop and hop on and off as many times as you like along the way.
