Itinerary

Exact itineraries vary depending on the tour type.

Tomorrow
Your adventure begins early in the morning in Alice Springs, where you will be picked up directly from your accommodation. The drive first takes you to Erldunda, also known as the “home of the emus”. Here you have the opportunity to buy breakfast and fortify yourself for the day.
Guests who start their journey from Ayers Rock Resort will be picked up from their hotel in the late morning and integrated into the group.

Lunch
At lunchtime, visit the Aboriginal Cultural Center. The center, built from over 90,000 clay bricks, was constructed in collaboration with the local Anangu people and stands on sacred ground with special significance for the traditional owners. Here you will gain fascinating insights into the culture and traditions of the Pitjantjatjara people and have the opportunity to purchase handmade souvenirs.

Afternoon
Your guided Mala Walk along the northwest side of the monolith begins at the foot of Uluru. Your guide will tell you about the ancient legends of the Anangu and show you impressive rock carvings. You will then drive to the Mutitjulu waterhole, a place full of spiritual significance. On the short walk, you will learn how the Anangu once used this place for hunting and rituals and see rock paintings that are still evidence of their living culture today.

Evening
The highlight of your day is the magical sunset at Uluru. With a glass of sparkling wine or a cold beer in your hand, watch the rock change colors – an unforgettable natural spectacle. This experience is accompanied by a delicious Australian BBQ dinner in a relaxed outback atmosphere.

After sunset
After dinner, the tour ends for guests staying overnight at Ayers Rock Resort. All other travelers make the return journey to Alice Springs, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation late in the evening – filled with impressions you will never forget.
