Hervey Bay

Hervey Bay is a coastal city in Australia and is located in the state of Queensland at the southern end of the Great Barrier Reef. The founding of the still young city dates back to 1977, but the first Europeans made it their home a century earlier. Today around 40,000 people live here. Hervey Bay is a popular starting point for Fraser Island tours, and humpback whales can be seen here in winter.
